Philip Wolfe, Chairman
Philip Wolfe, a recognised pioneer of the renewables sector since founding BP Solar in the 1970s, is the company's chairman and business development director. In six high-profile years as Director General of the Renewable Energy Association (REA) he became the voice of renewable energy in the UK. Philip was a leading light of the campaign for the Tariffs and authored the first design blueprint presented to Ministers soon after the Energy Act was passed. He continues to work with many others in the industry through participation in the Energy Saving Trust’s Microgeneration Advisory Board and the REAL Code Panel, and his ongoing non-executive directorships of the REA and the Aldersgate Group.
Paul Roberts, Managing Director
Paul is a proven business leader with a successful track record of growing services businesses through highly focused sales and marketing strategies and superior customer service. He also has a wealth of experience in strategic business development, having previously worked for companies in banking, asset finance and private equity.
Scott McLean, Marketing Director
As head of marketing, Scott is responsible for business generation and for raising awareness of the Tariffs. Prior to helping set up Ownergy, Scott was managing director at a leading international PR agency. In that role he successfully founded their energy practice whose clients include the Renewable Energy Association. Scott was therefore involved from the outset in the public affairs effort which led to success in passing the legislation that created the Feed-In Tariffs and Renewable Heat Incentive.
Neil Truphet, Operations Director
Neil is responsible for the delivery and management of all projects for customers and for the relationships with our all-important delivery partners. He has over 25 years experience, with Costain and others, in the construction and development of commercial, residential, leisure and mixed use property. Previously he was Director of Construction and Development for a major private property trust, developing a significant portfolio of hotels, commercial and self-storage facilities.
Rohin Modasia, Director
Rohin is responsible for business development initiatives and identification of and collaboration with strategic partners in areas including finance provision and corporate social responsibility.
Having started his career with Goldman Sachs in 1999, he spent 10 years working in capital markets, most recently running a trading desk for a Hedge Fund in New York. Since leaving his career in finance, he has been an active investor in property and in several start ups. Rohin is a CFA charterholder.
Paul Roberts, non-Executive Director
Paul is a shareholder and non-executive director of Ownergy Plc.
He has a distinguished track record in business and private equity.
